This Year's Performing Artists

The 2018 Hyundai Mercury Prize Awards Show will feature live performances from many of the shortlisted artists including Everything Everything, Everything Is Recorded, Florence + The Machine, Jorja Smith, King Krule, Lily Allen, Nadine Shah, Novelist, Sons of Kemet and Wolf Alice.  

The Awards Show will be hosted by BBC Music’s Annie Mac.

The live show will take place on 20 September 2018 at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith and tickets are now available to watch an incredible line-up of artists who have produced the albums of the year.

The evening will culminate in the announcement of the overall winner of the 2018 Hyundai Mercury Prize for ‘Album of the Year’.  

Those at home will be able to watch the performances as well as the moment the 2018 winner is announced live. The Prize’s broadcast partner, BBC Music, will be providing live coverage of the event on BBC Four from 9pm to 10.15pm, and BBC Radio 6 Music with Tom Ravenscroft from 7pm to 10pm.

The Prize’s digital music partner, Spotify, is supporting the Hyundai Mercury Prize through its channels. Spotify is also helping music fans discover new music with playlists featuring the 12 shortlisted artists and albums.
