Blossoms’ genesis seems like destiny. All hailing from the same Manchester town, attending the same schools and even being born in the same hospital, they first performed together as members of different bands on the same bill at a local gig. Their indie rock is northern and nostalgic; soulful crooning juxtaposed with jagged guitar solos and beats that are ideal for dancing. The eponymous ‘Blossoms’ entered the UK charts at number one in 2016, and is a collection of best-loved singles and tracks from three years of recording.
