As well as touring and collaborating with Kate Tempest, supporting US hip hop artist Nas at the O2 Academy Bristol, Loyle Carner has played Glastonbury twice and toured across Europe and America. ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ is a demonstration of his significant musical abilities. His lyrics are stinging and earnest, and he delivers them with persuasive urgency over relaxed, stylish jazz and R&B melodies.
